Is filler always the answer to dark circles?
No. Darkness under the eye has three separate causes: shadow from a hollow, vessels showing through thin skin, and increased pigment. Filler only addresses the first. The consultation separates which one dominates; pigment- or vessel-driven cases call for different approaches.
How it is done
The skin here is the thinnest on the body, and the wrong plane can produce lasting puffiness or a bluish cast (Tyndall effect). Low-density products that draw little water are preferred, placed deep with a blunt cannula in very small amounts.
Afterwards
Mild swelling is possible in the first days. The result settles in two to three weeks and lasts 9–12 months on average. Where there are pronounced under-eye bags, filler may not improve the appearance and is not advised.

Aftercare
- Reduce salt and sleep with your head raised for 48 hours.
